The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation has supported OWLAG graduates along their post-matric journey and now the first cohort is ready to receive their bachelor and honours degrees. Soon they will enter their first full-time jobs.

We could not be more proud of the accomplishments of our Pioneers (Class of 2011) and Legends (Class of 2012). They have persevered through the rigours of university programmes and the normal but unpredictable ups and downs of early adulthood.

In August 2015 we hosted the first ever Corporate Day at OWLAG. We invited business leaders to campus to meet OWLAF students in their final year of university. Seventy corporate guests attended the event and since August many of the companies represented have offered our students internships or full employment. Moreover, several businesses have expressed the desire to make bursaries available to our younger students. The Foundation will continue to offer funding and mentoring to our students and we are grateful to businesses that are joining us in this important effort.
